15:06 Dominic: So would oxidation numbers basically be another way to indicate electronegativity (e.g. the atom that is -- will attract electrons better [either leading to a covalent or ionic bond] than the + atom)
15:07 Dominic: So the the negative oxidation number reflects electronegativity, which shows where the electrons will spend more time/be more attracted to.
