Are relics and the sanctity of the body of Saints and the things they've touched Biblical, or was this a newfangled idea in the middle ages? Dr. Brant Pitre briefly introduces the concept of relics and how from the very beginning of the Church in the book of Acts, holy men of God could communicate the power of the Holy Spirit through even their shadow and items they touched. Notable Quote: "Well, Peter doesn’t even have to touch the sick. His shadow alone is so powerful and so filled with holiness and so charged (so to speak) with the power of the Holy Spirit that it has this power to heal.
