Sunday Sabbath?

Why do we have a Sunday Sabbath? If the Sabbath in the Old Testament is the seventh day, why do Catholics rest and worship on Sunday, the 1st (or "8th" day) of the week? Are Christians in general and Catholics specifically breaking the Ten Commandments? If we can seemingly change the adherence to the Ten Commandments with a Sunday Sabbath, why not other ones of the ten commandments? What does the resurrection and the new creation have to tell us about why the new Sabbath of the new covenant is now celebrated on Sunday?
